Those of who who read Ask Laura are probably familiar with the recurring theme of the Grendel Hide couch, and lately, the Tea Shee. In the chat, it was suggested that there should be a Grendel Hide couch agent, then we decided it would be awesome if we made an items pack of all sorts of things from the Ask Laura column. I'm relatively new to Ask Laura, so if anyone has any more ideas, please feel free to post them! Here's what we have so far: Grendel Hide Couch Tea Shee sample dispenser Edible crayons Cheese Appreciation Day dispenser. Piranha sushi Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. If you could get it to work like the santas hat and be clothing, then make it inject life chemical so the creature stop aging or makes the wearer infertile, ect. However getting clothes to work is tricky, so it could float above the creature and follow it? Just ideas. Lost Content, help find it a home! |

Aw guys, I felt bashful when I first saw this topic! Thank you.  I'm going to sit back and enjoy watching you all come up with your ideas. It's like a trip down memory lane for me. Let's just keep any frenzied double/multiple posting to a minimum, yeah? I particularly love the Grendel-Hide Couch suggestion; it's kind of iconic to the column now! Perhaps it could decrease tiredness whenever a Norn pushes it? |

A microphone/rock star game console for the ettin desert. Make up (for CV) that makes the wearer look ill. Edible carroty crayons. They grow under the ground and have minimal side effects. Annoying edible rooster critters. OHSS ray gun. |

Maybe the Grendel hide couch should be classified as a grendel. Because the hardman and battle norns could punch it instad of a grendel. |

Good idea. I'm not sure about actually classifying it as a Grendel, but you can use the training dummy trick to make it appear as one. |

I imagined, from the posts about them in Ask Laura, that Grendel-hide couches would be quite expensive and very stylish/upper-class. Grendels are [reportedly] vicious beasts, so hunting them would be expensive and dangerous, and only worth the effort if their hides were worth the time to collect (that is, they made good clothing/material), and people were willing to pay handsomely for them. Disclaimer: I don't support the hunting of Grendels! |

It may or may not be real grendel-hide. There are a lot of counterfeits going around but they're indistinguishable from the real stuff. Now, back on topic. |
