As I type this I await the first day of school! I'm chattering my teeth! Is anyone else out there nervous about school? $:\$

Just had the first day of my last year at school.
It really wasnt what badat all, I got to see all my friends together for the first time in ages and I've ditched a few teachers I dont like.
It'll be fine

My first day is tomorrow, same with my younger sister- it's scary for her though, because it's her first day as a HighSchool Frosh. She's very nervous, but I keep trying to tell her our HS is nothing like what you see inthe movies.. But then again, I keep loads of weird HS secrets from my family. $:\$

I myself have no fear- I'm looking very foreward to it. The teachers who I love, and who love me, the classes I love- (adv. chem for a sophmore? I feel special.

) And the few friends who aren't my gender.. I love friends who don't talk about shopping all day- And I miss them.

Well, i found out at school that you have to change in gym, and you cant change in the bathrooms

My first day of school wasent all that bad.
It was actually kinda good

Ah! So not everyone has perfect schedule schools.. We're going through that here aswell. So many kids are missing their required classes, having two math classes, etc... Ooh it will be fun to watch.

And as for changing? It's nothing to worry of deary, everyone does it and it's not like they haven't seen anything new. Although it is weird your school doesn't allow it in the restroom areas- ours does, because the area is right next to the lockers.

Pssh! i have to live in a dorm and go to college.

I *wish* i was still in high school. I had the best time in the last two hears of HS. i miss it terribly.

College is rather miserable. Wait until you have to buy all of your books and pay thousands for the education.

Well my first day of class was today. Nothing particularly bad. Matter of fact, I only had two classes. Class is fine, its the dorm that kills me... four more months. And then I'm leaving this place and transferring to a cloer-to-home college and commuting.

Nonono. You have not experienced true mathematically-inspired horror until your entire schedule is composed of math classes, as my friend's accidentally was. I can't remember how long it took them to fix it....

In related news, besides my basic GE class of the semester, I'm taking all science courses. Upper division biology requirements are fun.

You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there.

On the 'going out of the house in your PJs' topic, I find that whenever I go to uni in 'comfy clothes' (almost-PJs-but-not-quite) and generally looking like a dag, I run into heaps more people than I do when I'm actually looking presentable!!!

Does anyone else find this is true too?

Malkin, I think that is one of the truest statements I've ever heard. o.o

I always run into everyone on campus when I dress comfy. It's like a law of nature or something.

As for classes, I have two theatre classes, a ballroom dance class, an Intermediate Photoshop class (Which I've dicovered I already know everything we're learning,) and website design. Wheee!

My school has good education, but they try to feed us awful food and they're always yabbering on in Christian Education (yawn).
The good thing about school is that you get to see your friends. A person who's homeschooled won't have many.

I have a few friends. Just because I am homeschooled dosen't mean I don't get out of the house. In fact, I'd say homeschoolers have MORE chances of getting out of the house for activitys.

I know of one girl who was homeschooled for a year and a half - her family spent that time travelling in their houseboat. She's a little shy, but she's getting a lot better now that she knows more people.

I was homeschooled from practical birth up on to the age of 8. It was good for me- because everything I learned wasen't organized by some business or government. When I finally went to 3rd grade I ended up being smarter than everyone else.

Dont look at me, in 3rd grade i was the smartest kid in the whole grade level. And i never was homeschooled, i just in my life so far ive beenn to 3 no 4 differnet schools, my first one tuaght 2 grades ahead and was about 100 or so years old, when i left it was its 101th birthday :3

I started school early and skipped a grade. I was -always- one of the smart kids, and the baby of the class. Sometimes even the youngest in the school. =3
