I've been around for a couple weeks so I figure it's time to introduce myself! I've been a huge fan of Creatures (specifically Creatures 2) since I was a little kid. It's the reason I have an awkward love for genetics. If I hadn't stumbled into the video game industry I absolutely would have been a geneticist. Instead I became a Game Master at a video game company and later went on to get my degree in video game programming/design. I'm 100% a programmer and may or may not be working on something new that's loosely related to Creatures. I've learned that the quickest way to kill a new game is to share too much too early, so I'm playing it close to the vest for now. I'm also a hardcore sci-fi fan. Stargate is my favorite franchise, and watching SG-1 feels like going back home |

Hello! I finally got around to joining after having occasionally visiting this site for years now!I've always loved the creatures series even though I've barely gotten to play it at all. I discovered it through the PS1 version. I loved that game as a child (in fact it's the picture similar to my avatar that's on the art of the game's cover that made me pick it up!) and for at least a decade now I've come back to the wiki and read all about creatures. From what little I played of the PC games, 3/DS is my favorite in the series. Heck, when I was a freshman in high school I wrote a tiny little thing about the Lone Shee meeting another shee and I loved the idea of creating norns. My coding and such skills are non-existant pretty much though so that's not happening! xD Nice to be here everyone! Between my love of cookies, tea, and the observation of genetics in nature I'm practically a Shee. |

Back when I was a wee FaerieHawk I always thought it was so amazing that they created so much content for the games. I actually think Creatures was my first experience finding out that there was such a thing as fan-made content! I used to spend hours looking at fan breeds. Hi! I used to play Creatures when I was a kid and I loved to lurk in the online community! Sad to hear that a lot of the old sites are gone, but I'm absolutely floored at how active the Creatures community still is! I've just re-purchased C1, 2, 3 and DS on GoG and I'm looking at making some COBs/Agents, and maybe one day creating a new breed or two! I'm Beeps, an Australian who's studied stuff like game development and animation. It's nice to be here! =3 |
