Strangeo Forum Screen-name tales   1 | 2 awmanman   9/13/2006 Whats the story behind your screen name? Was it original? was it just for fun? My screen-name, Awmanman has real meaning to me. Its a mirror of me in some ways. I came up with it when I was five, and used it as my nick-name ever since. In the CC awmanman is the symbol of toxic norns, in habbohotel he is The ultimate fighter (ninja, knight, jedi, sith, padlin, necromancer, docter, Privite eye, cop, soilger.) In Msn im the cool-guy. Awmanman is the cool guy. yet im am sad to say their are FAKES out there! if you see a awmanman you dont think is me, PM me on this site. One day Neverwinter was getting more hyper than normal. She decided to change her name so I didn't know who she was. She turned into.....EvilHyperThingy! I wanted her to keep that name. She stuck with Neverwinter and I took EvilHyperThingy Instead. The one on my profile is much funnier than this. It ACCUALLY occurred in a chat. Gopets gochat to be exact.   KC11     9/13/2006 My name is simple: KC are my initals, and 11 is how old I was when I got docking station. Origonally, it was only going to be my DS name, yet when I discovered CC, I thought it looked good, so I kept it. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. In 5th grade I was asked to write a short story- I wrote one about a student named Tobias- though I wanted it to be my own name in the story, so I altered it- ending satisfied with "Karias." When I joined the CC, I joined with many names- mainly Karias22 because the registering didn't allow Karias. And 22 at the time was a special number to me. So now that I've matured though, my name has been Karias again for a long time. I did have one however that I don't like blurting out cause when I used that one, I was a complete and utter idiot. XD It was something like "supershee", odd story behind that. It was created while browisng Creatures Inc Oh do I miss that site. and I saw someone with a freewebs site. So I thought with my 12 year old-ish mind. "Oh my god!! I wanna website!" So I Emailed this girl, who told me I needed a webhost, I had no bloody clue what a webhost was back then. So I said to myself "I wonder what is on Freewebs.com" so I went on it, as soon as I went on it, it said "Build your own website, free!" so I though ok, I'll sign up, then I needed a website name... I created supershee up at the top of my head! I used that until around last years survivour where I was the Half noobish "Hurricane" So... like end of rant! And one day I wandered into JRC with it and like... kept it. Cause I'm awesome. and i have no idea where the cliche "angel" part came from. I was 11, sue me. But like... everyone's used to me having that name. So yeah. Yes, I'm the forum ... Any questions? Exept I said AMM once. but that was a very short sentance and I wanted it to fit in a tight spot. I like being called awmanman. Awmanman E.S's real name... Pfft! Like I would tell you! So, somehow, during the course of my secondary eduation, my friends decided to start calling me "Leela" for reasons beyond my comprehension. They claimed it was because I reminded them of her, but... I don't see it. Anyway, a couple of months after this started, I dove head-first into the world of Futurama fanfiction. But I needed a screename to go by, preferrebly genderless, since my parents had kind of made me afraid of the Internet and all who dwelled within it ( >_> ). So, I took my Leela nickname and twisted it into Officer 1BDI, a reference to her former job title from the pilot episode. When I first joined the CC (A2K) under "Test-Name," I actually missed the moniker. I mean, it had worked so well in the Groening fandom; why should I abandon it now? So, when I finally joined the Gameware forum and started posting, I did it under this screenname. And the rest is boring, boring history. (My friends still call me "Leela," for those wondering. I don't think I'll ever get them to stop. >_< ) You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. "Test-Name" doesn't have nearly the same appeal as 1BDI, but I'm still fond of it. I've used it elsewhere (mainly Neopets/Subeta/etc.), and I think it's mainly for the novely of having a "test name" as my screenname. I mean, it's such an obvious screenname, that I'm honestly amazed more people haven't taken it before I come along. So, I grab it. Because I'm selfish like that. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. I have a little club at school and our mark is a statue of a lily. The 237 part comes from my first neopets name, mudd237, which I miss dearly. ps.
