1. Start your game. 2. Open a world. 3.Open the Creatures menu (the first menu right). 4. Then click import, and choose the creature you like to import. Does it work now? I have Vista and both C3 and DS work fine for me, as do a couple other people, so it definitely isn't too new. How are you putting the creature file into the directory--do you download it straight into the folder or drag/paste it there yourself? What are your computer's user control set to (if you know)? Do you get ANY kind of warning message when you try to put the file in the My Creatures folder? Does right-clicking the DS icon and clicking the "Run as administrator" option make any difference in whether Creatures show up and can be imported?  |

I copy it from the folder and paste it in My creatures. It doesn't pop up when I export creatures 2... I'll try run as administrator... ok it still doesn't work when I play run as administrator! what do I do? ~Ratty <3 |

Your My Creatures folder should actually be this: C:/Users/(Your Username Here)/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files /Creatures 3/My Creatures/ ugh, smilies. replace forward slashes with back ones. |

Yes, if it is exodus. But for one of the original games, creatures 3 or docking station, it seems to be put in that obscure location. |

I don't have it in my documents folder and I don't have "Appdata" in my computer at all!!! Its C: \Program Files\Gameware Development\Creatures Exodus\Docking Station\My Creatures ~Ratty <3 |

Have you tried using your computer's inbuilt "search" function on your norn's name, looking in hidden files as well? You may also find it easier, at least initially, to post up your norns at TCR - it takes care of zipping and pictures automatically. My TCR Norns |

well the norns I export do but I want to send them for adoption, and when I look for them on my computer I can only ever find the files of creatures that I have previously adopted. ~Ratty <3 |

Are you sure you don't have a Creatures folders in your Documents, there should be a folder labeled creatures, there will be a Creatures 3 and DS folders, click on DS or C3, go into My Creatures, and you will find your exported creatures. |

Depending on what games you have, there should be a list of the Creatures Games you can choose from whrn you click on Creatures in docuements, I haves Creatures 1,Creatures 2,Creatures,3,Docking Station, and Creatures Village, there should C3,DS, and CV on the list. Creatures Exodous comes with Docking Station and Creatures 3. Click on either C3 or DS and go into My Creatures, and you will find your exported Creatures. |
