I just checked for myself. As it turns out, the lifts do have a pull script, but for at least some of them their behavior's still set to 1 (Push only) by default.
So fixing them up isn't as complicated as it would have been in a previous release, but they still have problems.

I'm sure that if you posted which ones have the wrong bhvr in Liam's bug thread, it would be helpful. It's good to know that the lifts are moving forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.

Caught up to this point!
Malkin and Grendel Man - Do you think it would be easier to edit the creatures' navigation genes to suit the run? I do. I don't know the first thing about editing that metaroom outside of things I can do in-game with Magic Words Room Edits and Elevines.
---
Were there any agents in particular that anyone wanted to see added for the wolfling run?
I'll already be using things like the egg finder to dump eggs into one of the oceans, and Garden Box/magic words/Freedom Room Builder to add/remove fixes as per the random event rules.
The game will start off 'vanilla' but the events will force me to add and remove agents. If I like the agent you suggest, it'll be be added to My Agents for use later in the run.

Fixing it genetically is an option, but then that'd screw with the creatures' performance in other metarooms with more conventional lifts and probably mess with crossbreeding a little (something to consider if you're going to be sharing the creatures participating).
In this case since the lifts do have a pull script, just not having the behavior set, in theory all you'd have to do is enter this into the CAOs Command Line:
enum 3 1 50200 bhvr 3 next |
Which should make the pull script useable by creatures.

Excellent. That should be a tremendous help. Thank you so much!
Puddini, your creature is finally finished. He was a toughy but I think he turned out OK. He's mostly purple but his head is mostly green. So the colors from the Coral Reef Chichis swapped places, but this is the absolute best I could manage. I hope you like him.
On to the other creatures!

Wow, these creatures all look awesome! You've definitely got some tinting skills there... and Drake's hair looks super cool in green.
I'm not sure if you're taking any more entries (20 so far, wow!) but if so, I wouldn't mind participating too!

Yup, I'm still taking entries. The cutoff date is the 30th, so you're just in time.
By the way, the Tilynn norns are unfinished and can have thick outlines and straight lines that seem to shoot off of the body. I'll use them if you like, but I'd just like to make sure you're aware of their issues.
I'll get to your creature as soon as I can. I've still got a back log to catch up on.

Yeah, I know all about the outlines; I have them in game so see it fairly regularly. Shame they weren't ever finished, because IMO other than the black stuff they look lovely.

OK! I've looked over the events again, and considered the average lifespan of a creature and I need help figuring out a few things while I wait for the test run to... well. Run its course.
1) One of the bad events suggests injecting a healthy creature with a poisonous substance to make it sick. Suggestions for a substance that is not immediately toxic? I'm open to anything that won't outright kill a creature. I'm thinking a few toxins would be helpful and I could randomize the toxin that gets injected.
2) Norns usually only live 5-7 hours. If I ran the stream for an hour every day during the week, it would be over before the CCSF was up. Would you all be OK with me running the stream for a half hour per day instead? Besides saving my voice, I'd be fresh every time and I could guarantee 2 events per show.
For fun: Here's what I'll be looking at during the run. XD
BTW - to conserve screen space, I'll be using my iPad as a stop watch, so don't worry about not seeing one on screen now.

For toxins I'd suggest carbon monoxide, geddonase, glycotoxin, fear toxin, or sleep toxin. Geddonase in particular has the bonus of being naturally produced by some pests and weeds, and it's my personal go-to toxin whenever I want to inject something nasty into a creature.
As for the latter point, I wouldn't mind reducing the show time. I was going to suggest increasing the norn's life span as an alternative, but given that all the participants have been created already that might not be so efficient.

One other thing came up.
I can't seem to use Twitch.tv's chat, so I've asked Laura if it's ok to redirect traffic to the CCaves Chat. I won't be typing much at all but instead, I'll be interacting and talking with everyone through the video. That said, I won't be monitoring chat in Twitch.tv at all.
I'll update the first post to reflect that.
Did anyone else think about 30 minutes a day is reasonable? I'd like to preserve my voice if at all possible, as well. What about other toxins? I've added all yours to the list by the way, GMan.
What about times? Is 3PM PDT (Los Angeles) a good time for everyone? I can't guarantee I'll be airing that time, every time, but I'll try not to deviate too far from then - it's the most reliable time for me to work with that isn't in the middle of the night.

Oh, I nearly forgot to ask - what concentrations would you all recommend for the different toxins? I don't want to give a 'full' dose of anything to the creatures. Is .5 reasonable, or is that too much?

I'd say anywhere from .25 to .45 would be about good. Gives the toxins enough time to have an effect while not (overly) damaging the creature.

Half an hour is good; 3pm LA is 10pm UK (I think) which is perfectly do-able. I know it isn't a toxin as such, but injecting creatures with 0.7 alcohol is absolutely hilarious. Actually, it's worth doing even if you're not doing a wolfling run. |

I'll go ahead and add it to the list anyway. XD It can't hurt to have a kind of 'neutral' toxin on the list.

I'm really, really looking forward to this shindig now. The suggested times seem good to me too. Kezune wrote: Were there any agents in particular that anyone wanted to see added for the wolfling run? Since this Wolfling Run will be broadcasted on each day of the CCSF, why don't you showcase any agents that have been released during the day? |

I won't be showcasing anything during the event itself, but I've added all the new items to my agents folder. If they get randomly selected, they'll be in the stream. I'd like the focus to be on the Creatures in the run, after all.
I might have time to do some written reviews or quick-looks of the recent and CCSF releases if KittyTikara needs more content, though. I'll ask, but as pressed for time as I am already, I don't want to make any promises. Besides, I find I make better reviews when I write them out rather than talk about them. I wouldn't want to rob anyone of quality commentary.

Aye, that's fairy snuff. My main thought behind the idea was that people could get a double dose of fuzzy feelings: One from watching their creature participate in the Wolfling Run, and two from seeing their new agents being used. I understand your reasoning though, and I love the idea of adding new items to the agents folder! |

It's one of the random events. If I roll a 1 (I think) the healthiest creature in the game is injected with a toxin. Thems the rules.

The events that I saw on the preview of the run look really interesting! If you haven't already, could you maybe post the rest of the events? I might be tempted to do a similar run.

Aaaaand cutoff!
I won't be accepting any more entries after posting this message. If you wanted to enter, I sure hope 11 days was enough time for you to get your form in.
In the day before the run I'll be doing my final tests to make sure things run smoothly, so if you have any questions, please ask them now. You might think of something I haven't taken into account yet.
