Seeing as I break up from school tomorrow for summer, I'm curious as to what everyone on Creatures Caves is getting up to in the summer. I won't be going on holiday/vacation, and I've got a bit of art coursework to do, but I'm going to enjoy being able to sleep for as long as I want without having to get up at quarter past seven every day.  Please post your summer plans below! |

I've actually been doing a lot of stuff, from relationship stuff, to work on mu own personal projects, to band camp, to reading, to other stuff, and I'm starting high school on the 6th or so of aug. beep |

I'll be staring at the US unemployment rate and waiting it to drop to 0, basically. Woo! High five! ...  Anyway, I'll be continuing the same internship I've been working on for the past year or so as I hunt for a steady job and pretend I'm actually improving my art skills. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there. -- Jim Adkins |

Nothing for me this year either. My dad has been really sick recently. He's a lot better now, but in no shape to travel so that's family holidays off. I was planning to go travelling with a few girls from school, but quite frankly, they're ideas are both expensive and boring. I'm not paying hundreds of pounds to fly to Majorca just to sit on a beach reading. I can do that here, we live an hours walk from the sea for crying out loud! Putting in all the overtime that I can at work, so that I can start raising the money to get a place of my own - a long term goal of mine. Summer isn't as fun when you're an adult, I've realised! Now I've stopped being in education, the novelty of summer break has worn off.  Hopefully other people are having a more enjoyable summer than me! |
