Handland: A tale of a norn who ventured out of C++ and Binary.

So practically I am gonna start writing a story about a norn who comes out of the computer and has to live in 'real life'.
Any ideas of what type if norn it should be? Once we get some reaaaally popular norns I'll post a poll where people vote for one of those most popular suggested norns :)

Tell me if you think I should write the story :) thanks

Make it an ettin, their klepto tendencies would make things really interesting :P

A Harlequin Norn could be interesting. Their amusing fur patterns were laughed at by the other Norns, weren't they, and the Lone Shee decided to send them out into the Warp to cope on their own. What if they ended up in our world? I've always thought of Harlequins as being vulnerable and shy, so how would they cope, and how would their funny appearance be recieved by us - especially by children? :P

Saying that, I think ylukyun's idea is an interesting one too!

Perhaps the Herbie norn from C2 would be best if you want to the story to be comprehensible to those who are new to the Creatures games, or only have a limited knowledge of them.

If you're writing for the CC, however, I guess anything goes. If you want to build up some kind of contrast between the natural, animal-like nature of norns and the cold, digital society that humans (like the Shee) have created, you could do something very interesting with treehuggers.

Also digging Laura's take on the Harlequin norns. Especially since they are so wacky. Most norn breeds, especially up until C3/DS, do look as if they could conceivably evolve from (or into) animals on earth. Some of the later breeds like the Harlequin, Astro and Magma norns are just to bizarre to be explained.

Interesting I will take a look into their history and see how they will fit into my story :P

Yeah, I agree that the Harlequin norns would be super cute in real life ^_^ But...wouldn't they get noticed too easily by the humans, what with their bright fur patterns? I think that, depending on the setting, either a siamese or treehugger norn should be used...If in a city, the siamese norn could just pose as a cat to avoind suspicion, and if the story takes place in a natural place then the treehugger norn can use its natural camoflauge!! Regardless of what kind of creature you choose, I would simply love to see your story if you write it! Sounds really fun ^_^

How about a toxic norn? They're just plain freaky, that would be very interesting.

I agree with every post praising Harlequins.

Harlequin norns would be able to disguise very easily as dolls, their fur pattern would take away any doubt that it might be a real animal.

Toxic norns could be very interesting protagonists (or antagonists!) for an enviromentally themed story.
