| There's no denying that the dark shade of Swift's scales was a far cry from the bright green and blue hues boasted by her ancestors, but genetics are funny like that - one shouldn't put too much thought into it. Otherwise one could envision her as a dark, brooding mysterious creature when in fact she was a bright, inquisitive young thing who liked to seek out new adventures.
Amphibious like her father, Swift preferred the depths to the shallows, and spent much of her time down in the so called 'Midnight Zone,' where the fish make their own light and her color rendered her invisible in the inky waters. Her bioluminescent markings fit right in there! Besides, there is much to be discovered in a place where so few are able to go. When she did surface, she could usually be found on the beach, picking up bits of sea-glass from the surf for her collection.
Now swift is just another ghost in the digital deep...
RIP swift; D. July 2ed Swift is resting in the depths. |

What a beautiful little Grendelchi! Ranon was planning on waiting for a certain egg to hatch, but he's absolutely mesmerized by Swift's coloring. Perhaps the two of them could pair up later in life?
