Oh, he's a pretty one. Here's hoping his sister's just as pretty.

Before she leaves on her journey, Saya approaches her eggs carrying a piece of bark with a note scribbled on it. She places the piece of bark some distance away from the eggs before grabbing a bunch of sticks, leaves, and whatnot in order to make a makeshift nest for them.
It takes her a while, but once she's done she gently places the eggs into the nest before tucking the note in next to them. She then steps back, gives them a forelorn look, and then walks away.
The note details everything she learned about life, and describes what she set out to do. It also says that she may not be alive by the time these eggs hatch, but that she has ensured that her children know who she is and how they came to be, so that they won't suffer through the same sorts of things she did. It ends with the statement that, be she alive or dead, she will always be there for them, and that she'll always love them.

Saya approaches her first egg carrying her second. She sits both eggs together before curling up next to them. Under her breath, she promises that both her children will at least be spared from the same unusual circumstances she herself was born into. She will always be there for them, even if it's only in spirit....
