He thought that the feeling of loneliness was just another constant in life, until he hit puberty. Gormez grew into a very handsome Grendelchi, and soon he wasn't so lonely anymore as bachelorettes started to flock around him. And just as they softened up to him, he too softened up a little. He was won over by Emerald in the end, both with her cooking and her music. After spending ages together, they made it official and wed. Their daughter, Tiana, was born not too long later. Gormez took great pride in his daughter, even if he had his doubts at first, and was a very dutiful parent. Not too long later, he met an Ettinchi named Biyluff. Gormez came to trust her greatly for her tolerance and generosity. After he insulted one of her friends, however, she stood up for her and scolded him. That was the first time anyone told him no, and it would be the last time anyone would ever have to. He would never commit a cruel act again. After that, he lived to see his daughter find love, marry, and have a child of her own. A Nornchi named Sprig came to look up to him as a father, even if he never realized it. He saw his wife pass away before his eyes, and he knew his time was coming too. His last week was spent working on one last final project for his grandchild, and his final moments were with his progeny. Long live the family! R.I.P. |

Knowing her end is nigh, Emerald decides to spend some time with with her mate, Gormez, in the garden, reminicising about good times and listening to the crickets chirping. | |||||||||||||

Sprig gives Gormez a gentle hug, with a cheerful "Fig doo!" She's glad for Gormez's company, especially now when she feels particularly alone. | |||||||||||||

Emerald notices Gormez's hair has turned grey, just like hers. She feels somewhat sad, but she promises that when her time comes, she wants her loving mate and her daughter to be by her side.

Gormez pets Sprig on the head, to assure her that he won't be leaving anytime soon. Not if he can't help it! He still has to see his grandchild, after all! He does not notice the red pair of eyes staring at him from behind, floating at about Sprig's height before they blink out and disappear. | |||||||||||||

Sprig happens to notice Gormez's gray hair with concern. Didn't her daddy have gray hairs before he disappeared? She hoped very much that Gormez wouldn't disappear too. | |||||||||||||

Lively as ever, Grom rushes up to Gormez to share the good news. Tiana is pregnant! Grom is so excited he doesn't even notice the grey hair atop Gormez's head before he runs off to see his bride. | |||||||||||||

Biyluff stops by to visit the Grendelichi while holding a small blue ettinchi. Her eyes widened to see her friend with a grey tuft! This shocks her! She had heard of Creatchi that start to get grey hair will disappear... The blue ettinchi shakes her head, she must not believe in such silly rumors! Biyluff talks to Gormez of how she misses him, but understands that he just doesn't have the energy anymore to make the hike to her home. She admits that even she is starting to get more and drained.. | |||||||||||||

Gormez waves goodbye to Grom as he leaves. and when he finally thinks that the young Grendelchi isn't looking, he stuffs the frogs into his mouth! Such a fine boy. He'll have to thank him for the meal later. | |||||||||||||
