Emerald decided to go down to the pond for a drink, but upon gazing down into the water she noticed her hair was completely grey! Suddenly the colour of her scales isn't all that important anymore... | |||||||||||||

Gormez wasn't quite sure what he should do for his ailing wife, to be honest. He never had anyone to take care of but himself and Tiana, and their hardy daughter has yet to suffer the ravages of hunger or disease! He attempted to make some soup for Emerald, using mushrooms, swamp water, leaves, and live toads, but it wasn't fit for even a snack! He searched around for something else to stave off her hunger, and eventually came across an old block of cheese. Normally he'd present such a gift in a crude and cruel way, but today he opted for a different method. He wrapped the cheese with the (now damp) leaves, and delivered it with a kiss! | |||||||||||||

Gormez excitedly ran up to Emerald, obviously trying to hide something behind his hunched back. He proudly presents to her what he has been working on for the past few hours: A scary face, drawn on the side of their new egg in marker! Now nobody will want to mess with their daughter! . . . But where did he even get the marker from? | |||||||||||||

Dusty is much more comfortable in approaching this grendelchi than he is with her spouse, so has no need to shout his congratulations over the new addition and run afterwards. He still is very cautious in case said spouse is around, though! | |||||||||||||
