Bramble Grendelchi Tarlia | born 6/28/2013 | 7 | The first son of Greg and Liika, Bramble seems to have gotten the best features from both parents. A real firecracker of a grendel, at least in looks. Personality-wise, he is actually quite mellow, even a little shy. Bramble graaaaaaah |

Works for me!
These little things age way too fast to roleplay all of their life events.

Let's just say that the rest of Saya's and Bramble's meeting went so well that they eventually decided to get married.

Bramble also watches the shrine quietly for a while, then offers Saya a soft smile in response to the pat on his back. Obviously he doesn't know what she's thinking about.
He suddenly seems to remember his manners - what little his mother could teach him before she died, anyway. Getting up, he heads over to the grasses underneath the tree and retrieves a small pile of apples from within them. "Hungry?" he offers.
He's quite glad to have some company. He does know a few other grendelchis (and one norn), but none that he's close enough to to really call a friend. They're busy with their own matters.

"Mama?" repeats Saya, looking between Bramble and the pile of rocks. It takes her a minute to realize what he was trying to say.
When she finally does realize, she frowns sharply. She felt sorry for Bramble for losing his mother when he was so young, but at least he had a mother. Saya had yet to find the creature who left her egg on that foggy beach, let alone her parents.
She sits there in silence for some moments, before reaching over and giving Bramble a sympathetic pat on the back.

Bramble watches Saya as she approaches his little shrine, his head tilted curiously and his ears perked, trying to determine whether the source of odd, soft music he is hearing is her... But the music seems to come from within him, rather than from her direction. It's very puzzling.
He moves closer to stand next to Saya, and makes a gesture towards the pile of rocks. "Mama," he explains, in a miserable tone. Bramble was perhaps lucky that he hatched before both his parents had passed on, but his mother was very old and died when he was still barely more than a baby.

Saya's attention floats over to the little pile of rocks Bramble apparently built. She approaches it and takes a look at it, but is very careful not to disturb it. Something about it told her that it meant a lot to Bramble.
After some seconds, the song that followed her around changed from its usual haunting tone to a softer one. It sounded almost sympathetic.

Bramble is sitting in the shade of a large, leafy tree, munching absent-mindedly on half a piece of cheese. He has a rather sad expression on his face, and gives a great sigh as he glances towards a small pile of rocks nearby, which is decorated with flowers and pieces of bright yellow eggshells. It appears to be some kind of shrine.
Saya's greeting startles him slightly, and he stumbles to his feet, dropping the piece of cheese. He returns her greeting, looking a bit uncertain at first, but then offers a lopsided grin.

On her way to find as many grendelchis as she can, Bramble's bright coloration catches Saya's eye. She happily walks up to Bramble and greets him.

A true fire Grendelchi!

Certainly. They should make some very interesting offspring together!
