Are You Kidding Me? Screenshots KC11 | 6/13/2013 | 3 | Nothing pleases a Draconian Norn. |

They are picky things, but gorgeous

How is the Astro Norn surviving in there? Is it gengineered or mutated? Does it have the genes of breeds that need heat to live?
| |
Pretty much. In fact, outside of the navigational CAs, they are used solely for interaction with plants and animals. The system isn't as well implemented as it could have been, honestly.

What does CA 2 do? Is it more for plant and animal agents?
| |
Ylukyun's about right - the actual temperature (levels of CA 2) are pretty much meaningless to most C3/DS creatures. Generally speaking, most temperature changes in creatures are triggered by the stimulus genes, though there's a chemical reaction or two that adjusts the temperature drives as well.

I think warm-blooded.

Actually, has anyone figured either way whether Creatures are cold-blooded or warm-blooded? (Endothermic, Exothermic, whichever terms you prefer.)
| |
I don't think external temperatures effect norns very much.
