A bunch of ideas for critters for the Borg Norn Hive metaroom. Borg norn idea isn't mine but Annex did seem to want advice on the ecosystem of his room so I drew these. Coolant Fly - Small bug with two syringes in place of legs, and a tiny helicopter blade instead of wings. Works by flying down to the water, sucking up a bit via the syringes, then flying back and spraying water from its syringes onto machinery producing steam and cooling the machinery. Pallid coloration for organic parts, implants are dark-grey and shiny-polished. Junkling - Tiny mass of random looking machinery with organic limbs ranging from tentacles to insectile pinchers to humanlike hands placed at random. Hobbles about, grabbing bits of detritus and drops it into the water at the bottom of the room. Grinderfish - Looks like a large fish with mechanical dive tanks, armor and a big industrial grinder for a face. Swims at bits of detritus the junklings toss in and "grinds" them to pulp. They produce a little cloud of bubbles due to grinder action when working preventing the grinding from being seen. The only kind of detritus they ignore is their own "pulp." Pale grayish coloration. Suckerfish - Looks like a fish with a gas-mask for a head. Eats pulp left over from grinderfish. Has a pale color like real world deep-cave fish. |

Another of my atempt on remake old breeds of mine,this time,my very first (and old) C2 breed ever - the Ice norn... New can be seen on left side, right is the old - males are up,females are down. I allready drawed up a concept pic of how the new Ice norn will look like - but Im still a bit unsure of the female..I gave her longer hair before,alltought the hair itself looked nice,it just didn't fit her very well, so I did make a haircut and made her hair a bit balanced - not too short,nor too long..and even thought it may look better now, I still somehow liked the old females hairstyle (sidewise)... As you can see - the remake got a huge revamp - same ice norn,but new things changed. The males now share the more glittery eyes fems had,but now even improved. They got now a better crystal (drawn by me) they got longer ears (with white fur on the eartips)and longer cheekfur too! They also have a more white speckled fur as well,and males gt red crystal horns. Hairstyle is now slightly changed for male too,and well for fems..I allready mentioned it. I might do some tweak again with the cheekfur,til I get it right as wanted - but for now,please do NOT tell me what need to be changed! - feedback comments about the fems hair by keeping it as it is or if I should try make it more closer to her old style is ok,thought.. This is just a start of my Ice norn revamp plan,and so,I haven't done any other sprites yet,until Im satisfied with the side head first! Who knows? Maybe I do even post up my little concept pic here....or not..meh we have to see. |

A pic showing the old peace norns & ettins made by me (Ugh..so terrible - keep in mind,it was my 3rd breed,so I had not much experience back then as I have now) The newer one is seen with a white flash line.. and they look much better ,again I think the female (ettin this time) could be done better,may or may not change her..even thought,I do sometime want to fix her hairdo a bit better actuly..hmm sadly - the remade ones will not be released anytime soon,until I can get some help from some experienced people who know about c2 genetics...the genom is done,but I need some tweaks and need some hints how to sort it out >_>' (the sprites overall is done,only need to make the Ettin heads,and then make them to proper sprites) (also,Thanks Laura for being able to at least save this text for me) |

This was cute matierial Norn was Norn of the Month in April 2006 at Alien's Creatures World. I was fortunate to be able to adopt him, and I was very happy about it. |
