Does anybody here remember that game called Pinna, where you raise and breed virtual birds? I managed to find an old thread about it here on this forum but the source it mentioned - VirtualLife forums - no longer exists, and the wayback machine/internet archive can't access any of the pages where one would download Pinna from.
I managed to find a download from myabandonware but I'm not sure if that's the only source left? If anybody has Pinna, I would be really grateful if they could share.
If this is in the wrong section, I apologize, it's been a while since I used a forum, haha. |

I took a quick look through the myabandonware version, and it looks like that's identical to the old Pinna folder I have, including the extra info documents. |

Oh okay. I was really hoping if somebody had a CD rip, because the myabandonware copy's help document sort of works in that it shows every segment except the encyclopedia reference section. And since I managed to translate every other part of it, but that part is blank (and it gives me some type of error message whenever I try to open it sometimes) I thought maybe a CD rip would have the correct files so I could translate it.
In addition, I cannot seem to get the "hold left mouse button and drag to view the interior of the nest" function to work with the myabandonware copy? Only when there are chicks/eggs in the nest it seems. |

I think only being able to view the interior of the nest when there are eggs/chicks present is the intended functionality, yeah.
I can view the encyclopedia portion of the Japanese guide if you really want screenshots of it, but the software is old enough that a lot of it is just explaining computer terminology so I'm not sure how interesting that would be. |

Oh not, the encyclopedia, the, uh...the reference document. The blue section. I just tried to open the help document right now and got a gibberish error message referencing the filepath of "C: \\User\AppData\Local\Temp" which I am going to assume means I am missing required files. It ends in -34, if that means anything. Then I get another gibberish error message that references CASTCTRL.X32.
But then it opens, and it lets me view everything except the blue menu, which, according to my translation at least, calls itself "Birds and Equipment."
