Hey, come back to the game after a while and I had a question.
One of the worlds I've created seems to have a particularly bad bacteria floating around the Norn Terrarium. Whenever I have norns or even Grendel/Ettins in there, after some time they develop a bacteria that produces Fever Toxin at a high speed and without any other obvious factors, and they inevitably die of thirst (I suppose.) This issue is only in the Norn Terrarium and only in this one world.
I did some reading on the wiki and it said it was possible for bacteria to reproduce while on creatures - is it possible this nasty little thing is just hanging out in the Norn Terrarium now? It's been continuous issue and basically makes the room uninhabitable.
I'm thinking of just making a new world, though that'll obviously be a huge pain, since I had several metarooms I painstakingly set up with garden box, etc.
To clarify, all my creatures are colortrue CFEs and I'm not using any agents, cos files, etc that change how bacteria function.
Would appreciate any more info on bacteria and combating Fever Toxin you have, just in case I see this issue come up again. Thanks!

Thanks - the Incubator is absolutely coated in bacteria (probably like 15 or so), and the norn terrarium has more bacteria than the jungle overall. So that would explain it.
I know there's a way to just delete all bacteria - is there a way to just delete bacteria on a specific object/agent?
You could use the hoverdoc, put it on a creature near the incubator, set it to produce disinfectant clouds then pick it up and wave it around where all the bacteria have accumulated.
Hoverdoc probably is the best option here, but don't forget that C3 does come with it's own antibacterial spray. It only kills bacteria currently clinging to creatures, but it can be rigged up using ports to auto clean creatures that pass by, as per the linked wiki example.
To solve the "Ettins stealing away your setup" issue as described in the wiki article, you can make the object invisible to creatures by adding 16 to it's attributes variable. My CAOS is rusty, but entering this in the console while hovering over the object with the Hand should have the desired effect:
