Help Forum Norns Trying Patience    Arak   8/14/2006 I think my C2 norns are retarded. They won't eat unless I tell them to repeatedly, and sometimes not even then. They won't listen to me when I tell them to sleep. They constantly walk off cliff edges, no matter what I do to try and teach them that this is bad. So they're always tired and they usually either drown or starve themselves to death. I have a big problem with my female norns getting pregnant and not eating enough. They tend to pass out a lot unless I give them regular liquid food injections because they won't eat on their own. And no matter what, they just don't learn any different. I'm at my wits' end with them. I've tried offering them a variety of foods, encouraging them when I see they're looking at the food they should eat, slapping them when they walk off cliff edges into the water, using the push hand tool to guide them away from edges. I'm not sure how the problem is coming about, or how to head it off, whether it's something I'm doing or not doing, or what.   KC11     8/14/2006 Here is another idea: When you start that new world, export some of your problum norns and import them into the new world, but only a few, like two or three. The norns in the new world may help train the other norns to be "normal". Once those norns are trained, then import some more problum norns. Soon, they should all be trained. (>oo)>   Arak   8/14/2006 According to the Creatures Wiki (I am slowly groping my way around the world of Creatures websites), there's a norn disorder known as OHSS, which sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with here. So I downloaded the improved Canny Norns. This could solve my problem. *fingers crossed* Now, how do I get them from the zip file into my Albia?
