please help! c2 isn't working on Vista! I opened the autorun thing, and after about five seconds an error message comes up, saying "Failed to update the system registry. Please try using REGEDIT." Then, a second ot two later, another window pops up saying "An error was detected during startup. Creatures 2 may not function correctly. Please restart your machine and try again." I clicked OK but it just closes the windows. What do I do? |

Oh my. You may be one of the first to try C2 on Vista. Open up the contents of the CD in explorer, and try right-clicking the autorun.exe and clicking 'properties' and setting its compatability mode to an older version of windows. I am not exactly sure how to do that in Vista, however. The Creature Repository / Eem Labs My Creatures download archive (Bibbleworld, C12DS, and more) |

*Shivers* Ugh. Vista. Do what Muff said and then click the 'Compatibility' tab. Check the first box and select 'Windows 98'. THIRD TIME!!!! ps. I haven't played Monster Raannnrrrnnchhdoggy |
