(I apologise for being so late. I was sick all this week and could barely get on the computer.) Day 4, Entry 1 My Hand had this brilliant idea the other day that I should go and explore a snowy island with nothing but a journal. I thought it was a good idea at the time but now I'm starting to regret it. I've been hiding in this cave for the past four days because I've been too afraid to walk outside. I'm getting really hungry now, though, so I better head out of this cave. ~Ratty <3 |

Day 4, Entry 2 I left the cave a few hours ago for some food. The snow is getting to me at this point but I managed to find a small, iced-over pond. Fortunately, the ice was so thin that I could smash it just by hitting it! Andddd, luckily enough, it turns out that there was a frozen fish in the pond! I mean, it seemed pretty gross at first, but what choice do you have in a place like this? I also managed to get a few rocks and sticks to help start a small fire so I could roast the fish. It wasn't very tasty... at all... but I still have a few scraps left which I'm going to hide in the backpack my Hand gave me to carry my journal. I'm about to set off now to go across the rest of the island and hopefully find a proper shelter... or at least the materials to build one. ~Ratty <3 |
