You should overwrite the broken file with the backup(?) you made. And why do you not directly edit the sounds self? Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

norns have a gender difference in voice? I think you mean grendels. In my nerd cave, nobody can hear you scream. Feed my pets: Shroomy and Glow! |

Of course Norn have a gender difference, they're the only species to have one from the beginning. Grendels didn't have any difference in their voices until the Banshee Grendel fix came along. Before that they sounded the same. Speaking of which, since the BG fix added new voices for the Grendels, I'll bet it is possible to somehow add voices for the Ettins too. Now only to find the BG fix code, wherever the game stores it. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\")  |

That second line means: go to the sound folder, use a program like Audacity and change the sounds. It has the same chance not to work, but it won't crash the game. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

yes norns have gender differ sounds,females sound higher then males,only in the c1 tutorial they had *strangely enough O.o* male voices only >_>' while ingame they had theyre standard differ XD anyhow,im pretty sure it's possible to make a female ettin voice set,as well for the geats ^^' in c1,ettins and geats used both norn and grendel voices... but wich annoy me more,is that there where never a set for geat voices >_< it's quite stupid,because creatures labs made the genetic kit for c2,allowing you to choose geat as a species,yet if you tried inject one *with a geat breed installed,no sound included of course* it crashed >_>' and i was going to fiddle and see if i also could make a geat sound file,suspecting it had to do with some vce.files *voice files? * and the wavs ...might be wrong,probely something incoded in the game ^^' *wanted to do this cos of making a geat breed... *also been thinking if there was a way to make female sounds for grendels and ettins forn c2 as well ^^' * In C3-ds it seem at least more possible to solve this * probely with caos,coding and whatnot* as for wavs its not hard enough,i probely could make female voices *i have some sound editing proggy's XD maybe the gaia agent can show some result? it is a part agent part creature *geat to be exact* wich come with her own sound *norn-ish edited sound that is* but still it's something .. |

Erm... Voices are made with cos- and soundfiles. That more offspring thingie goes over genetics and can be changed independent from the voices. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
