Development Forum Strange Genetics Bug    Peppery One Papriko      7/17/2009 When SpringRain got the Worker Siamese of me, I decided to work again actively on them (the Siamese, not SpringRain ^^). Now I am going to breed them together with Aqua Norns. Here is now the strangeness: My Worker Siamese are able to swim O.o I checked the whole genome and I found no emitter, no chemical reaction and no stimuli which produces any Arnika. I am pretty sure, its not because of the Aqua genetics, because the Worker Siamese even swim on generation 1. knows anybody how that can be? I use the "classic" Swimmer Agent coming with the Aqua Norns and NG4. EDIT: It becomes even stranger: I have 4 of them in the world (3 females, 1 male), all generation 1 and only 2 of the females can swim... That should we not possible, because I made 1 male and 1 female egg with the Portable Egglayer and just multiplicated those 2 with the Mini-Copier, because I was too lazy to type so often the genome's name. NEXT EDIT: All agents I use in this world are: Aquatilis Caverna Autonamer (the one included in DS) Cupid's Lyre Egg Collector Egg Hatcher Home Smell - Norn (the one from Ettins Revenge) lots of Lavaball 4 Mini-Copier NG4 Portable Egglayer Swimmer Agent by Tomchek The world type is undocked DS. Sadly thought any idiot that it would be a good idea to remove the article about the Portable Egglayer. Creatures Mainframe is now finally down. I can send you a copy of it, but it would be the bare agent without readme or anything. I don't think it was the Egglayer. It worked always fine and it just injects the genome into an egg and does not try to "repair" it. (I can't use the function of genetic kit, it doesn't detect Linux C3/DS). It was probably one of the other agents, because they are all clones of each other, but only a few can swim. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis...
