I know there's been a project in a past trying to accomplish something along these lines, but apparently it's been canceled and hasn't been worked on for quite a while. So, I'm going to give it a go. Basically, what I want to do is take the tank from the Amazing Virtual Sea Monkeys and turn it into a metaroom for Creatures 3 and Docking Station, for a little extra room for aquatic creatures and for an additional room to use for an aquatic wolfling run. One problem: I don't have Sea Monkeys, which means I don't have (easy) access to the images and what-not. Considering that, I'm wondering if anyone has the images for the Sea Monkey tanks (or possibly just tank). It'd be great. Main reason I'm asking to see if anyone has the image for the tank is because the game doesn't seem worth buying from what I've heard. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |

I can't help you with finding the sprites, have you talked to Dement? If you bought it (Amazon.com), the advantage would be that you'd always have it there, it would have all the images, and you could play it yourself to ensure authenticity.  My TCR Norns |

Sea Monkies is based on the CA/CV/CP version of the engine, which is marginally newer then DS iirc. You could probably port it with very little work. The sprites would even be in the correct format. I have a copy of the game I bought from CL before it went belly up, but for legal reasons I can't share it  |

I'd figure legal issues would get in the way somewhere along the line. Not that it matters much, since Malkin provided a link to where the game can be purchased. So, I'll probably pick up one of the copies sometime in the future. I'll probably bump/rename this topic if I get anywhere with the project. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |
