Here's an up-to-the-minute discovery from my neverending quest to understand norn language:
How many times have you heard your norns say "Suggest you hit a bit," "Maybe go to a bit," "Maybe touch a bit," etc. "A bit" it turns out, is a noun, and occupies the spot in norn vocabulary which actually belongs to the word "shee." There's a category in the Words_of_Bibble.catalog file which contains the entries "norn, grendel, ettin, a bit." I made this discovery after putting a somewhat rowdy shee into one of my games, when one of the norns the shee was picking on said "Me dislikes a bit."
I'd previously observed that the norns wouldn't say either shee or geat, and wondered why. Now I know.

Geats can say "Geat" (capitilised). Always wondered about that, though...
Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>

Very Clever discovery knytetryper! I'm happy that you have made it. I, for one, am thankful that you discovered this. I previously was unaware of the realtion between the Shee and "A bit." Thanx!
