(I really didn't know what to title this. Sorry! )
I've been re-watching the various Creatures intro videos on-and-off and, for a while, I'd been wondering why I found the animation for the Creatures 2 logo so interesting (aside from it being the coolest logo animation of the bunch, I mean). And then it hit me: the animation style was reminiscent of the one used for the Children's BBC TV ident in the early '90s!
For comparison:
C2 intro
Children's BBC ident (warning: It might autoplay.)
I know, they're not exactly the same, but the similarities are enough to amuse me, nonetheless.
Does anyone else have any funny moments where something in Creatures reminded them of something else? ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)

This is kind of the other way around, but one thing I've noticed is that I often hear sound effects that were used in Creatures in other games, cartoons, even movies sometimes, etc...
My guess is that a lot of these were stock sound effects, but it's always funny when I notice it. In particular, I hear the sound that C3 uses for the doors on the Ark opening and closing quite a bit, as well as the gurgling sounds Muco makes.

There were a lot of stock sound effects used. The "boing" noise is used in other things, for examples. It's not unusual at all for games to use stock sound effects.
I am 90% sure Grendels' voice noises are also used in World of Warcraft... I want to say they're used by orcs but I can't remember.
