hi, i just bought creatures: the albian years on steam and i'm trying to use the breeder kit, but i keep getting "the rpc server is unavailable" and "the remote procedure call failed" errors. running on windows 11, launching as administrator. i ran ay_reg_apps.bat as administrator, it ran silently with no output. checked regedit, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT only has Creatures.Document, no com server entry or anything else. trying regsvr32 on Creatures.exe gives "DllRegisterServer was not found". has anyone managed to get the breeding kit working on windows 11.? is there any workaround at all.? ty for help. |
