Hello, everyone! I've been playing the GoG version of the first Creatures game on Windows 11 with Lisdude's Community Edition patch installed. Aside from an issue with the Health Kit I was able to fix I haven't ran into anything I can immediately identify as a problem, but I'm wondering: is there any way to make it so that the windows of the kits open above the main window and stay there? It'd make things a lot easier if I didn't have to stop what I'm doing to manually find the Health Kit's window every time I want to check how my Norns are doing. ^^" Pac-Maniac Sheeplord | Rookie Hand and Creatchi Enthusiast |

There is now! This adds an Always On Top submenu to the Kits menu in the launcher. You can configure individual kits or set them all at once. Build 10.1 Download |

Nice one, I love these Community Editions, they make me very happy  Could you add a way to automatically teach a creature all words? That would be cool, I use the "Teach All Verbs" sometimes that comes with cheat mode, but it's not good enough, plus I don't like how it ages up baby stage creatures. |

Glad to hear it! They also make me happy.  I added the 'vocb' CAOS command a while ago. You can do that by selecting a creature, hitting CTRL-Shift-C to open the CAOS console, and typing vocb. Or 'enum 4 0 0 vocb next' if you want to give all creatures in the world full vocabulary. I suspect the aging up in the cheat command was for instinct processing. |
