Hey all! I've recently been thinking of making a new Norn Breed, and I thought it would be interesting to let them have some new quirks that aren't present in C3/DS as of yet. I'm not a CAOS mastermind, so I was wondering if any of you could tell me if adding such quirks is possible or not.
Usually I don't show a lot of my work due to the element of surprise, but I'll just spill the beans for now as I think this idea would have a lot more potential with new habits than without.
So, this breed is based on a marsupial, and marsupials are known to carry around their babies. The particular marsupial my breed is based on also gives birth to quite a lot of babies. To get to my point at last, I was wondering if it's possible to invent an agent that does the following:
- First, the agent checks the body sprite of a Creature.
- If the Creature has the right body sprite, (For example, b44p) allow the Creature to 'get' Norns of baby age.
- The Creature has a built in instinct to pick up other Norns, and the babies have one that lets them approach their parents whenever they're not feeling well or whatever.
- When the baby gets picked up, they get placed either on the back of the older Creature, or in their pouch, or in their arms if the former two do not perform well.
- When the babies get old enough, or when they get too bored, they'll be dropped off again.
- The agent also passively increases the multiple birth chance/rate of the Creature host.
