I'm trying to develop a breed for C2 and have been for months, but I keep running into road blocks along the way. The biggest thing is editing the sprites. I have to convert all the Hebe sprites from the spr files individually and I find it an extremely daunting task. Is there a way to get all the heads on the same page for easier editing? Because its taking a lot of time and doing each of them separately makes room for plenty of spriting mistakes.
I know this probably belongs in a help section, but I thought I'd ask the development community about this because if there is something that can be done about it then this process would be a lot smoother and I'd be able to get these sprites finished quicker. I had originally hoped to have had them done by now for the CCSF, but the slowness of the process caused me to give up for a while out of frustration.
If this does in fact happen to be the only way to sprite, then it may be a much longer amount of time before I finish this or any of my other breed ideas I've been cooking up for all those C2 lovers out there. If these were completed, I would leave an option to convert them for C3/DS if anyone wanted to have them for that game. Honestly, I love the art of C2 and I wish there was a larger community for it, even despite the game's glitchiness, it would be really nice to see some more fixes for the game, and maybe even some new breeds.
But I'm getting off topic there, I was just wondering if anyone here in development knows a faster way to edit sprites than one by one. That's like 1,000 sprites and many spr files to convert into sprites. Makes me tired just thinking about it.
Either way, thank you all in advance for your help on this project.

Have you tried using the spritesheet function?

Wow, I didn't even know that you could do that! Thanks! I'll give it a shot Malkin!

Haven't used this myself so I've no idea whether it works or not but this might roll with you. |
