I suggest the Simply Music program. I probably won't be able to explain it better than its website (which can be located by googling "simply music" ) but it is a relatively new music program that operates under the philosophy that every human being is naturally and profoundly musical, but these musical talents are often not allowed to grow because of the archaic way music is taught.

Learning how to read sheet music does not come for a while in the program. This is far more natural than learning how to read music before understanding the instrument, rather like trying to learn how to read and write before knowing how to speak.

The website supports a "find a teacher in my area" system which is limited to Australia, America, Canada, and New Zealand. If teachers are unavailable, there's a DVD series you can take home and use to learn.

There's also a program called Synthesia, which is purely used for learning pieces. It does not help you understand the instrument at all. However, it is quite useful if you more or less know what you're doing and only want to learn some specific pieces. It's a little bit like Guitar Hero. It's difficult to explain, but a hasty google search should be able to give you the general idea. I believe it is free to download, but searching "*insert song title here* Synthesia" on youtube has quite a high chance of finding the video there to learn from.

Out of interest, how large is the keyboard and what is its polyphony (number of notes that may sound simultaneously) and does it have other voices (instruments) than the piano?
