Hello, sorry to sound a bit off-topic, but is there anyone here who is good with earphones? This morning after listening to a few songs on my iPod, the sound cut out on my right earphone, and now only the left one works, but if I wiggle the connector a bit, the sound works properly. Is there anyway I can open up the connector and change the wires or something? And getting new earphones isn't an option. I've only had these for two weeks, and I don't want my parents to keep spending money on them. (I've had over 10 sets over the past two years!) |

Maybe you could check if the problem is the headphones or perhaps the iPod? Connect headphones or boxes or something of which you KNOW that both sides work. Then see if they work. Perhaps the iPod is broken. Otherwise... I am not sure if you actually can open the connector without destroying it. What works for sure, and what I also did by my own stuff, is taking some headphones where something else caused them to be broke and cut off their plug. Then cut off the broken plug from your phones and solder on the other. You just need to watch out for the color of the wires. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
