I love me some Lone Shee. <3 You should have seen the look on my face when I first realized CL was posting a story featuring an actual Shee. I already had some Shee of my own floating around in my head when he was first introduced, so I don't think he's the greatest Shee (sorry; personal OCs come first  ), but he is very entertaining to write for nonetheless.You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there. -- Jim Adkins |

I agree with Officer. After having the Shee be so secretive all, having a whole story series about one was awesome. And I like how reclusive and gadget-oriented he was, and then later those traits were linked to the Banshee. And that ending! It's almost something out of Lovecraft's writings. The Shadow over Sphericus...  |

I haven't read very many of the stories, so what I'm asking may be silly to those who have... Has he met the actual Banshee species? You might know me as Hierophant, the one who tried making the Warlord breed. I try to help the CC through other methods now. |

He saw one on the comms screen at the very end, but we never got to find out what happened after that. They might have killed him. They might have thrown a family reunion barbecue. We'll never know.  |

Like Ghosthande said, he did meet one at the very end of the Banshee Grendel chapter when he found the Shee Ark; the Banshee told him she had been "expecting" him, and then the story just... ended. :c The story's at the end of this page if you want to read it. isn't that story decanonized? If memory serves, everything associated with the Lone Shee was technically decanonized because his saga didn't mesh well with whatever story GW had planned for the next game. ETA: I think the Banshee were one of the main reasons for that (though for the life of me I can't remember where Lisa said that; probably in a long-lost GW thread). I'm not sure why the Banshee Grendel story in particular was pulled, though, since the Banshee are hinted at in other chapters. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. It's from a banshees point of the view which makes it pretty interesting. She's one of the first to actually spot a very special ship that is now connected to the Ark. EDIT: Posted the first two mini chapters in Writings I'm tired. ;___; |
