So, we're in August now and the summer's almost behind us - how's everyone's Summer been? Have you enjoyed the break from school/college/work whatever, and are you looking forward to going back, or are you dreading it? What have you done and what have you enjoyed the most? Let's reminisce.  My summer hasn't been that eventful. If I'm honest I've just enjoyed the time I've had to relax and do the things I enjoy - shopping, reading good books, country drives, visiting new places, long lie ins, late nights... As well as fitting in the time to catch up on some vital work for university of course.  |

I was mostly reinstalling. At the moment the system seems quite stable, except a problem with the sound output of games. At least DS is now working again. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

I've had a lovely, quiet summer. I spent a lot of time on this site perusing the Strangeo forum and missing my irl friends because they all went on vacations. I'm excited about the start of school because I have some really cool elective classes, but I'm also sad because I've enjoyed being able to stay up late and sleep in, and spend however much time I want to online. I've had a nice summer. The job hunt hasn't gone as smoothly as I'd hoped, but in the meantime I've been doing an internship and volunteer work to keep busy. I actually managed to finish one of my major art projects, too (proving, yes, I actually can finish what I start  ). But my highlight of the season was, without a doubt, Comic-Con. I got to meet so many awesome people this year: Billy West and Lauren Faust and Maurice LaMarche and Joss Whedon and.... *sigh* Geek heaven. :3You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there. -- Jim Adkins |

My summer's been quite boring, but I highly doubt I'll be finishing my new breed, the Lemon Norns, anytime soon. Also, my main desktop computer I play games on has got a corrupt registry, so I have to use a really crappy Notebook instead. |

Traveling and a lot of it, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Florida, Oklahoma (I saw OKC for the first time) and Branson (In Missouri). I still have a month of vacation left, they're giving us over a month off of school for Ramadan, but we have to make up for the lost hours.
