The Darkness fell when the Sun sprung forth. Darknesses Crown fell from it's head when Stars burst forth singing in all of their glory. Darkness was diminished when Fire was created. Darkness dies in the presence of Light, just as Evil dies in the presence of Good.   KC11     6/9/2009 Darkness is not the representation of evil. Darkness is the opposite of light, which has never been the representation of Good. Light and Dark can be equally evil and good. Light can blind the sensitive man, while dark can hide the wrongly convicted from critical eyes. Light dies in the presense of Darkness as it fades into the background. The very depths of Water are protected from the revealing rays of Light by the closure of dark, covering wondrous and terrible secrets from the world at large. For if it is light and dark, we have certainly established that both can be good and necessary. If is good and evil, well then, we have something very different to discuss. Can good and evil be established in such a simplistic society as Creatures? As for the question of good and evil applied to me, how can I apply myself to either faction when there is such a range of gray between? To apply myself to good would mean giving up all sorts of little happiness's that keep my life worth living, such as trolling and yelling random swearwords on Aithalis. But to apply myself to evil would mean losing myself in the slaughter and cruelty of evil. Murder is a viable option in evil, as is destruction and power hunger, none of which I wish to do. Therefore, I sit my butt down in a shade of gray and glare at all of you. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>   rainbowcat1   6/9/2009 You have finally come to your senses and realized that gray is the best! I wholeheartedly agree that there can be no black or white purely in life. However, as regards the creatures games, black and white are quite seperate, given the simplistic nature of the society. The simpler it is, the less gray exists. On a scale in creatures from good to evil, it is norns, ettins, grendels, although none completely comply with the extremes of good and evil that can be seen in our world. They merely represent the spectrum present in creatures.
