| This is a pack of norns using what is hopefully the final version of RA's Standard ChiChi Norn genome. As with the first two test versions it's based on the 2017 genome with biochemical and behaviorial tweaks.
This pack is mostly similar to Test Version 2, but has the following features:
-Activase breaks down triglyceride and glucose a little faster
-Prostaglandin now heals wounds in addition to injury
-Antigen responses have been tweaked across the board to be a little more consistent, for an overall stronger immune response
-Eating gives a little bit of water
-They have instincts to travel when crowded
As with the previous two packs, genome files are included alongside the norns. |

For the Gen 1 issue, are you sure it's not EES? Given where you're saying it's happening, it seems to me like they might be falling asleep in places where there's little to no food or other things to do and then seizing up when they wake up.
That probably doesn't explain all of it, however; I've definitely noticed something similar in my own testing runs, if not quite to that extent. Unfortunately, I'm at an impasse on what might be causing it or how to address it.
Thanks for the report!

Hi RA, I was really interested in testing this base out and by the time I was able to set up a world for them your v3 was already out. I've been testing v3 in the Norn Terrarium and tropical level of EvoShip. I'm only 5 generations deep but have occasionally seen gen 1 adults of ~3hrs "give up" and lie down to die of all 3 hungers near elevators or on sloped terrain. I'm not too well-read on the C3DS scent system and not sure if that's just a map bug or something to do with the new travel instinct.
I hear more whimpering in a big population than I'm used to in DS but there have actually been very few total starvation deaths.
Let me know if there's anything about these guys you want me to focus on playtesting.

Neat. Can't wait to take them for a test run.

As it turns out, I posed Rhea with Norn Poser to take the picture for the website but forgot to turn it off before exporting her, so she might come in zombified.
Select her, open the CAOs Command Line (Shift + Ctrl + C), and type "targ norn zomb 0 motr 1 mind 1" if you find she doesn't seem to be able to move. She might not start moving immediately, but she should snap out of it eventually.

If you want to know more details about what's in this genome, check out this post at my blog.
Also note that these norns are ChiChi Norns genetically, despite appearances; their genome doesn't have any of the Magma Norn genome's unique features.
