 | These two represent the very first working prototype of CFF Hardman Norns, and have ALL of the very latest CFF 0.6 genome edits. These are not only the first CFF Hardmen, but they also have fixed the breeding issue seen in CFF 0.4-0.5, along with some slight tweaks to the CFF 0.3+ interaction behavior edits, which I developed after extensive testing of both these and the latest batch of ChiChis... Also included in the download is their genome files (.gen and .gno).
These are very recognizable as the official mall breed, practically fearless, quick to anger, and very aggressive, but they won't get incapacitated by their emotions like regular Hardmen... Grendels won't last long in a world with these around. Recommended agents are the Calm Balm and Mecha-Grendel that come with the official Hardman norn pack, also the Scratching Post from TwlightCat's CatPack and Giant Calm Balm are other good ones... these all help reduce their anger. They see the jungle terrarium as their home.
Any feedback or suggestions on these is more than welcome. I think CFF is close to a full release and that these are very close to their official breed release. Still, the more feedback I get, the better. It makes sense to make a test version of these first since the original Hardmen have such distinctive behavior and emotional problems compared to most. |

if you can get the evos to breed, yeah (or you could splice them I guess). Shouldn't be any bad complications, at most I think their hungerly drive overwhelmsion organ might be a bit different in some offspring, should still work though, maybe faster even...

Can these breed with Evo Norns?

Yes, will be adding these edits to the Chichis... I already have the new genome for them in fact.. I will put a couple up since you are interested in testing them. These Hardmen and the new Chichis should be compatible with Fred & Ethyl's version, they don't have new genes since then, just a couple of alterations to make them just a tiny bit more sociable and to let them breed properly.
Treehugger test version will be next... If these test versions do well and people are happy with them, and there are no other generic fixes people can think of, then I think the CFF Norns are done... I'll put out official 1.0 versions of each official Norn breed and a conversion guide for people who want to try to convert other breeds (Warning though, it won't be for the faint-hearted... These are at 70+ edits and counting, including 51 entirely new genes).

Will you be adding these edits to the chichis? Also, are they compatible with Fred and Ethyl's version?

Just trying them out as of now, can confirm my wuss grendels did not fair well with the newborn hardmans. (I almost felt bad about testing the hardmans on them, they were running away the entire time and the hardmans had this happy little smile on as they hunted them down) They are reacting well to "no", as one of the grendels is still alive, and they seem to be taking good care of themselves so far. Will be back to report on breeding situation when they're adults.
Edit: They're adults now, and are successfully, but not excessively, breeding.
