slot | Grendel-N | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Jesseth, CosmiSynth, Gulvet | website | [view] | A loving revamp and reslot of Gulvet's Curiosa Norns! They now have full breed art for all life stages and sexes, non-glitchy body data, and occupy Grendel N, which doesn't conflict with the C12DS breeds like the old Curiosas did.
The downloadable ZIP file comes with a breed agent, several different genome choices including the default original genome by Gulvet, an information document, and a fun development log with information on the process of breed making by Jesseth!
(Note: The original Curiosa genome and the plaincolor Curiosa genome don't have any special care requirements, but they do have some observable quirks. From studying the genome and their behavior in-game, they are fond of eating detritus (they get vitamin C from it), enjoy playing with buttons/lifts as a form of entertainment, and are generally very good breeders. More information on the alternative genomes can be found in the information document.)

I remember getting the first iteration of the Curiosa norns many, many years ago. They were so wonderfully odd. I think I even made my first [never released] genetic breed using them. Something along the lines of "Stilts Norns", they had Curiosa legs only, to try and avoid some of the body data issues (and because I apparently thought they looked like they were on stilts). Maybe I should make a v2. I cannot remember what else I did to the gene, though...
I saw this while looking through the downloads to set up my steam version of C3/DS and I gasped (while also accidentally inhaling my drink). So glad they got a remaster, they deserved it. I loved using the original but was often disappointed by floating body parts and black/stray pixels. They are so unique and clearly a labor of love, so I was sad that they had so many unintentional issues.
So far, no issues to report with this version, either. Can confirm that elevator buttons are evidently the talk of the town, too.

Thank you!!! I never got that annoying head to neck disconnect fixed on the originals before losing touch with the community and seeing that the poor little things mattered enough for you and others to fix them means the world to me now that Docking station has been re released on steam.

They are the most precious button pressing friends, I appreciate them so much!
