type | Genetics Only | author | evolnemesis | updated | 8/23/2015 | These Norns are part of an ongoing project to improve the C3 Genomes and to fix many of their problems, such as incomplete chemical reactions and unused neurons, stimuli, and words. The goal is to put in everything that was missing from previous games and more, to allow them to live up to the full potential of the C3 game engine and their much more sophisticated brains and biochemistry.
See the project thread for details and to leave feedback.
New features for testing:
- Completed Pyruvate - Lactate Cycle (fixed muscle death from muscle toxin/lactate, slightly better resilience to suffocation)
- Drowning Response (creatures exhibit fear and will attempt to avoid drowning by backing out if they walked into the situation)
- Inhibin used to regulate Testosterone Production in males (might need tweaks, testing and research is required) |

Hmm, yeah I could just export a male and female and put them up, that's a good idea. Creature uploads make more sense than cluttering up the breeds if there will be a lot of versions. Maybe once these are in much more of a complete state I can get them taken down by some nice admin so I can replace them with a more official version.
Anyway, the new feature is that the new ones can also understand and react to 'yes' and 'no' if you teach them the words with a learning machine. It will work to encourage/discourage them, just like c1/c2 norns (though it doesn't cause pain to say 'no' like slapping them does, I took out the pain and wounding, but it does still punish and cause fear, 'yes' works just like a tickle though.., rewards and reduces anger, fear, and loneliness). I'll upload a few new creatures to the creature upload, probably after adding at least one more feature.

Can you edit them to 0.1 or maybe use the adoption page like I did with the Wilder Norns?

Hmm this doesn't seem the best place, I thought I could update these like I can update agents... I'm not seeing a way to upload a new .zip for them. I don't think it would make sense to upload a new breed for every testing iteration. These guys are already obsolete, lol... Oh well, I just had one more feature... we'll see how these work while I work on more.
