The biggest problem I actually have is honestly getting the socialisation that you need to fit between the two trying to mate, and I can just wait to approve pending social requests... I guess I find the whole setting a bit weird since even with mates trying to bond you still NEED other people to socialise with the creatchi literally alternately. But yeah that's just my opinion on it! | |||||||||||||||||||

The main reason for the sign is to tell people who aren't involved in the breeding that the creatchi with the sign is trying to raise affinity with a mate. Without it, you'll have other people looking to socialize their creatchi socialize with the one trying to breed and making it difficult for the two lovebirds to raise their affinity. Granted, it doesn't stop everyone, but generally speaking having the sign up speeds up the breeding process by lowering interference and making it so the only other creatchis your own socializes with are ones you choose to socialize with (which, I've found, helps a lot when both owners are fairly active). | |||||||||||||||||||

ok! I wondered this with my last creatchi though... does it really make a huge difference? One way or another, creatchis don't seem to be able to socialise twice in a row without someone else in between, so provided that say, my creatchi isn't that popular, all it does is get the 'in between' socialising out of the way faster right? But since people seem to like the 'do not disturb' thing I'm not too fussy. It actually sounds like it would be slower though. :0 | |||||||||||||||||||
