Beside a river of lava a small egg rocked, cracked, and then broke in two. From it's splintered remains emerged a soggy little grendelchi, pale blue with red stripes. She looked about at her surroundings in amazement, and then scuttled away from the magma, running over rock that was warm to the touch. | |||||||||||||||||||
