We've had similar genetic 'mutations', too.  The example I can think of is two green grendelchis producing a brown grendelchi. ![[nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif "[nlaugh]")

I checked the statistics. If he was purple, it would have said there were three purple Grendelchis. Unfortunately, it still says there's only two. | |||||||||||||||||

Well, if it works the way I think it works, baring mutations, it should be 50:50 Red : Purple, baring mutations. | |||||||||||||||||

Probably extrapolation based on the fact that one parent is purple (according to RGB much red, a bit blue) and the other is red (According to RGB red). | |||||||||||||||||
