Kezune you merged someone else's post with two of mine :p

We've had similar genetic 'mutations', too. The example I can think of is two green grendelchis producing a brown grendelchi.

Hopefully I find the time to breed this one.
He's solid black, what a handsome little fellow.
Oh wow I thought he'd be red, not sure how their genetics work.

Drat, that means Bilberry's little girl isn't going to be purple, either. I was hoping for purple+blue stripes.

Yup.
You can reach it by going to Community - Creatchi and looking next to the search bar.

There's a statistics page now?

I checked the statistics. If he was purple, it would have said there were three purple Grendelchis. Unfortunately, it still says there's only two.

Well, if it works the way I think it works, baring mutations, it should be 50:50 Red : Purple, baring mutations.

Probably extrapolation based on the fact that one parent is purple (according to RGB much red, a bit blue) and the other is red (According to RGB red).

How do you know?
