I chose Fully customizable metarooms, but I would also like a few other things on this list!

@kezune
Its a which one of these features would you like to see most, I put that there intentionally because its only a 1 feature but I know what you mean if you feel the same for two options.

I'd like to vote both Plant AND Critter genetics.

Maybe they could make gadgets progressive, so as you progress onwards in the game more gadgets come available to you, ranging from basic to complex.

Both has some advantages and disadvantages. Redstone for example has more precise timing. Unless you make some really freaky device involving pistons and item transport and other mechanical whatever, you usually know how fast a device acts. C3 wiring is too random for that. Each gadget just acts "as fast as it can" or "as fast as it wants". Every single line more or less in the code influences the entire runtime of a signal. Also, the way signals are sent makes it pretty hard, nearly impossible, to make huge machines in C3, such as an ALU.
Redstone on the other hand poses other disadvantages, such as extremely limited wire lenght, the total lack of proper wireless transmission or autonomous devices (e.g. robotic flying devices).
Analog signals are present, but hard to handle as well.
C3 includes all that. Radio stations, hover platforms controlled over ports, signals ranging between +-255 (and more if you wanted to...) n all that stuff.
So yeah, a crossover would be a very powerful tool.
Also, by the minecraft bit I was talking about plain ol' vanilla. I know that there are mods like Redpower2, but they don't count

@Papriko
I was thinking about like redstone when I put wiring system, but it would do well as a crossover.

Wiring system! But not quite as in C3. More like a crossover of C3 wiring and Minecraft Redstone.
