 | If I knew how to use the sprite maker, I'd make this fella into a breed for C2. But I have no idea how. ![[nsad] [nsad]](/images/smilies/emot_sad.gif)
C2 has always been one of my favorites in the series along with C1. But sadly, BOBcob does not work on my vista computer. But if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to find out how to make a breed to share. ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)
I hope you'll enjoy this first try at designing a breed's appearance. Also, the tail would be fluffy, only I chose not to add it to the pose I picked. |
 | So I thought I'd give it another shot and drew myself as a Norn again with my tattoos. I really struggled with the face on this one, as I normally draw canines, so I automatically draw long faces. But Norns don't have that. xD It took me a long time to get it right, but I think it looks a lot better with the short face, than it did with a long one.
I'm getting better at colouring, guys. |
 | I liked the sketch enough to decide to finish the picture.
Finished in Sketchbook Pro for iPad by Autodesk Inc. |
 | I decided to take a crack at drawing myself as a Norn. That's coffee, by the by. Not tea. ;D
Drawn with Paper by FiftyThree on my iPad. |
 | RAW!
It's the Grendel doll that I made some time ago... cute, isn't he? |
 | Yeah so I decided to give it a shot, although I really can't handle the Creatures style, so I have a feeling if I'm going to be drawing more Creatures stuff I'll have to do it in my own style, no matter how strange it might look.
I've included all my tattoos in this piece as well, so you can see the. Cheshire Cat I have on my hip and "Alice" written across my left breast. The purple under my eyes is because of my extreme lack of sleep. I stayed up until about 4 am last night to get the majority of this done, and I've only just finished at 12:06pm. |
 | So I've been practising some more, here are a few sketches together (including the one I posted earlier). I've settled on my main idea, which is half a face of a Norn peeking over (something C4 related -- a leaf? A wall? A golden egg?) with (big!) expressive glossy eyes. I started drawing a Norn peaking over a leaf and then thought I'd take a shot at drawing the rest of his face, hence the scribbly lines and weird tendril in the middle of the picture. He looks like a lemur or similar Earthly beast, and not really Nornish though, so, back to covering up half the face with something else I think.
Things I have learned:
I need to draw Norns with big, big, big eyes in proportion to the rest of their face to make them look cute.
I still haven't worked out Norn noses.
Officer-1BDI's tutorial is pretty neat!
That is all. |
 | My original sketch's proportions were pretty off, but I didn't let that stop me. I fixed it, inked it and coloured it. I went through all sorts of colours for the hair. From violet to pure white. In the end I just used a washed out brown. I wish I could draw Norns in a more realistic style... Maybe I'll learn some day? For now, this is my best Norn drawing thus far. |
 | I would apparently be horribly disproportionate. I'll have to work on that... Based my Norn design on my pony design; which is why she's carrying some cookies and a quill! |
 | So I've been drawing some practice Norn pictures as part of the I Really Want a Norn Figurine Project. I'm so rusty at drawing I can practically hear my joints squeaking in pencil-driving protest, but I'm starting to draw pictures that I don't want to throw in the bin straight away (progress) despite their roughness (progress still to be made). So... there's hope? Maybe? If Fishing Cactus gives away enough Norns? |
 | So I finally got to looking at the unreleased breeds given away from The Realm and I saw the Hyena Norns. I thought to myself, how awesome they would be. I put them into my game and I do love their genetics and their colours, but alas they have Bengal sprites. Nothing wrong with that of course, but I do love customised sprites for breeds, they just add more excitement to breeding.
Just a quick doodle, nothing big and I'm not really doing anything with them since the breed doesn't belong to me, but I enjoy doodling. |
 | Happy (early) birthday Laura!
I hope this will cheer you up, even though your cake... is kinda ruined... and probably full of fur...
Darnit! D: |
 | As the title and the Norn says... Happy Easter! |
 | I thought the picture of the Wildling Norn eating the cookie was cute, so I made this. |
 | Coloured this one since so many wanted me to. Probably there will be more later, hope you like it. |
