 | I don't know what breed nor gender I drew. I just... Drew. I also don't know what she/he is doing. I did this because I haven't done any Creatures art yet. :'> |
 | And here's the counterpart! Love to know what you think! |
 | I thought it would be interesting to have a Norn whose horns come from their brows rather than their scalp. Just pointed brows on the female, more pronounced horns on the male (which I've not coloured yet). Hope you all like her! |
 | Done for Karias. |
 | This Grendel breed is based on apes and trolls. The male will have colouring similar to a silverback, while the female will be shades of green. |
 | I think I should add the star spots over his thigh too, his legs hide them at the mo. Comments and criticism appreciated! |
 | Nothing makes these Norns happier than looking up! Bodies soon, which will hopefully make their cosmic themes clearer. |
 | Some doodles I did of my baby Grendelchi, Bumblebee Manonoa. ^^ |
 | A drawing of Goldie and Ciel, the Grendelchis, celebrating the birth of their daughter; a very pretty egg that was adopted a few days after and named Hoggle. ^^
Had to have the image re-submitted, since I didn't know the image was that big until I saw it. XD This is the smaller, and easier to see version. |
 | Snapped this road sign en route to my boyfriend's house. |
 | Here's the icon for my Creatures Tumblr askblog, Ask A Norn. You likey? |
 | Wooo! I've finally finished making my pattern! The only thing I can see to fix right now is that the arm needs to be a tiny bit shorter. But other than that, I'm done! I can start making plushies now! I tried to make it as accurate as I could, and I think it worked pretty well! I'm very happy. ^.^ <3 The first plushies I will be making will be a male Bruin Norn and a male and female Apple Norn pair, because they are the simplest I can find concerning the fur patterns.
All of my plushies will be for sale, and I will donate 20 percent of the sales from my plushies back to Creatures Caves to help keep it running well. Let me know if you're interested! |
 | Steve was feeling lonely as all the other ball-joint dolls in the house are large, scary and expressionless to him. Enter Theo the Curious Norn.
Steve: You are mine now. I say so.
Theo: Eem choking... Eem hit Hand.
Steve: I regret nothing. |
 | Here's the progress I've made thus far! As you can see, I have improved a lot upon the first, messy pattern. I have lifted and firmed the muzzle, added more volume to the body to give it a more plump and anatomically accurate appearance, and stitched the ear on so it's more spread out this time.
I love the results so far! I'm excited to make the limbs! |
 | I have been spending the last few hours creating my own pattern for making Norn plushies; I want it to be as anatomically accurate as possible. This is the first test of the pattern, minus the limbs; I want to see how the shapes look in three dimensions, so I can decide what changes I need to make to the pattern.
This pattern test was made with cheap felt, embroidery floss, and sharpies. I was not at all concerned with the quality of the stitches, or seams, because the only purpose was to check the 3D shape. There is only one ear because one is all I needed to see, and there are no limbs because I just haven't gotten to those yet. xD |
