Development Forum Fragile Norns   1 | 2 | 3 SpringRain   7/20/2012 I'd love to have someone help make these. Originally I was doing them with Scoota, and I think we decided to let him or others handle that tricky part of things since I haven't even been able to get my head around making agents yet. I mean, I've toyed around a bit and injected funny drawn things into the world and used commands on them but never made a fully functioning agent - but I'm working on that! So anyway, my point was that yes, I would love to have your help and support if you're interested, if that's okay with Scoota too. ^_^ Is it harder to do sprites for C3/DS than it is for C1 or C2? I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley!   Ettina   7/20/2012 OK, I'll do the genetics for these guys. But I'll need lots of beta-testers because I suck at nurturing norns, so it'll be hard for me to tell 'difficult to care for' from 'impossible to survive'. Any volunteers to test prototype Fragile norns? So, from what I understand, the desired genetic modifications are: * dependant on hand (love drive) * more easily wounded (slaps etc) * conservative breeders, breeding limit 3 babies each * gets ill for longer * more sensitive to temp extremes (especially cold?) * emergency medical cure (Blessing) - ATP and antibodies* new sprites (need to know which slot, but it's a minor edit so can wait for last) * easily drunk * coloring doesn't change with age And if we make a C2 version add: * drown easily * care for young OK, can anyone send me conservative norns? The link to the download is broken, and I can't seem to get them. It'll be a lot easier to make these guys conservative breeders if I can look at the actual norns as a model. They're supposed to have the love drive set up, it's supposed to increase over time and decrease when they are near the hand or tickled/spoken to by the hand. I'll do what I can to research the progress with them. Hopefully a few of us will all test them so we can get feedback on the results. This is an exciting first step!! Thank you so much, Ettina. I'm probably going to have the most time to play with them over the weekend. EDIT: I know I am making a blog with horse norns at the moment but I'll export them before playing with these guys.
