Hi All! I'm Esmay, I'm 14 years old and I come from the Netherlands ( The best place on earth to be  , hmm, maby not the best place, But better as Germany, eh Papriko?  )I allready play Creatures from when I was 8. I started with C1, Then came C2 , and then creature Village. And then of course Creatures Docking Station ( C3 & DS ) .. I've a magical band with all Norns, some let me think about myself. Maby so cool as a Bondi?  Ore so shy as a Treehugger norn  I was allready using this Forum to read this and that, but I also wanted to register myself XD I know this site from Papriko ( My boyfriend , yeah you all read it good, )I dislike Grendels beacuse they are so mean.. and they kill all my norns  and Ettwins are quite stupid, I want to see them smart And mostly they steel al my gadgest XD Sooo, If you wanna know something about me you can ask me Greetz .. Hey folks, new critter here! I'm Niv, a 23 year old graduate student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My course of study is in computer science with a concentration in artificial intelligence, which was directly influenced by Creatures 1, waaaaay back when I got it for my birthday as a wee lad. I've only recently gotten reintroduced to the game (currently running DS/C3 with C12DS installed), and decided I'd like to get re-involved with the community: partially just for fun, and partially because I might be interested in getting involved with an open source project at some point, and an AI-related one would be awesome! XD (Random Trivia: Way, way long ago on Albia 2000, there was an individual who converted a few C1 COBs from PC to Mac. They used the name Nornish McBibble as their handle. That was me at, like, 10 years old. I've been out of the community for some time!) |

Just joined, but I've been playing Creatures since I was about 3. In fact, for those of you on TVTropes, Creatures provided me with my first Heroic Blue Screen of Death. I'm 16 now and thankfully a lot better at the game. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a useless lump and haven't made anything cool for the community (though I did try my cobbling once when I was about nine or ten. I broke Albia ), but I'll have more free time after this year, so I might try hand at making some purdy sprites. *disappears to watch Supernatural* |

I am a new user: I am posting here! Everything you need to know about me, is on my profile. Except that I am clueless about pokemon. Re everyone talking of C2: It was my first game, I was very young, and I stopped playing it after a while - it crashed after 30 minutes, the norns were morons, the bodies of water loomed and I didn't have internet. But I couldn't stay away for more than a couple of months.. and here I am today Now I am tempted to go develop for it.. |

Golly, am I glad to find this forum. Imagine, an active community of Creatures fans, I don't think I've seen one of these in a long time. I play C3/DS as I can't get C1/2 to work on Windows 7. Plus I hear talk the Norns are morons, so I don't see the point. Fun fact about me, I think that Creatures are sentient life forms and do not endorse or respect torture. However, combat against a Grendel is a required evil. But is kept to a minimum. Happy huntin'. :3 |

You might want to have a look at this old topic, Adjusting to Earlier Albia, as it compares C1 and C2 to C3. I highly recommend them both, personally - they're so vintage, and cutesy and fun. |

Hi, I used to go by Lynx about five or six years ago on Albia 2k. I only posted about 10 times so it wouldn't surprise me if no one remembers me. Ettins used to be my favorite, but now I think I might like Grendels better. Maybe someday I'll make a new breed, but that's in the future. Right now I'm just glad to be back. |

Thanks. It's too bad my greatest achievement was giving input on a Norn breed that never got finished. This time I'm determined to contribute something; or at the very least be more active. I'm not surprised the Creatures community is still alive (especially because I would check periodically), but I'm happy none the less. |
