just remembered something - I know a number of people who play the games but don't actually have internet access (scary isn't it?) who'd be interested in buying a new game should it ever be available.
Ah well, if it happpens it happens. I'd buy it even if it's just for the sake of completing a set

Yes, it's a scary thought, but there ARE people out there that play the Creatures games but don't have internet access. For example, my brother, Ettinfreak: he plays C3, but he doesn't have access to the internet (unless I let him on).
I'd most definately buy C4 or C3D if it ever came to the market, no matter what it may be... but I still think that there are better ways of making a C4 or a C3D to come out than just asking some of our friends to download Docking Station. I recently put up posters advertising an artificial life experiment around my neighborhod. For the next two or three weeks, I saw boxes arriving from Gameware Developement that looked as though they had C3 or CE in them... that was an interesting event that I made note of.

Aw, shucks *blushes*.
I was just rather desperate that day, and I had some free time, so I used poster print and some internet pictures (plus a description and where to get it from Gameware and such) and pretty soon, people were ordering off of the Creatures Mall. But before anyone starts dancing in circles with joy, I must point out that there were still quite a few homes that didn't think of it as a good investment.
I think that putting up advertisements around the neighborhood is a good idea and everything, but I'm not quite sure...

I've added a Creatures group on Facebook now, and some people have begun careful advertising on Neopets (whilst avoiding getting banned with anything too obvious), you've advertised the game locally, but what other plans can we put into action? Perhaps ones linking to Docking Station being free and playable online.

I have an idea! Nuts for Creatures!
We could mail boxes of nuts to Gameware until they make Creatures 3D. Worked for Jericho. XD
Okay, I'm probably the only one who thinks this joke is funny. >_>
Hi, I'm new too. Hoohah! |

It might work better if we popped nuts with pictures of creatures on them and a DS url into random people's mailboxes, to convince them to download DS and start playing Creatures!

Liddell, this topic has been dead for a year.. If you are going to bump it, do so with a sentence that anyone can reply to with thought.
-Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate! |
