Why do all of the Creatures (norns, ettins and grendels) keep looking at the Shee and say they are afraid and want to run away? And why do the eyes of the Shee glow purple when a norn is nearby, but not when grendels or ettins are? I've read some in the creatures wiki but still don't get it... Oh and what does the machine left from the Shee statue do? With the drink bottles and green, red, blue and yellow buttons... My norns won't ever drink it  |

The in-lore explanation is that the Shee are the overlords who created the Norns, Grendels and Ettins. To remind them of this, they made this huge, intimidating and impressive statue. The game explanation is that it is just scripted to scare nearby creatures, to look like this "impressive" thing I told you about. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

My headcanon is that the statue was placed there to act as a guardian of sorts for the mixing machine, to keep creatures too curious for their own good away from it. |

I absolutely love that statue. Firstly, it's the site of the primary easter egg (That one where you click one of the barrels, and a guy pops out of the statue). Secondly, it's cool. It shows that the Shee really have a pretentiousness thing going on (remember, I have not played Creatures 3, so I don't know what Shee are like). It shows their omnipotence, and more importantly, where their self-rightousness may have failed and doomed them, much like the fall of the Roman empire. I just love the idea.
