Brunettes are breed 2 and Blondes are breed 3.
Breed 3 is usually reserved for the female Santa norns
Once installed, you will have blond norns in slot 2 of both genders,
and brunette ones in slot 3 of both genders. |

I'm pretty sure I used Slink's Red Happy Eater genome |

type | Genetics + Sprites | author | MuppetBoy | updated | 5/31/2018 | The Greih are a race of norns that look like Shee.
If I remember correctly, they use Slink's Red Happy Eater genome |

slot | Ettin-X | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | tarnedangel | The aliens from creatures village now for your C3DS worlds!

type | Genetics Only | author | JayD | From JayD's original description: "Lis Morris created this great genome. I just made a few genetic tweaks, to fix its wall bumping fixation. I know Lis, you like them bumping into walls, but we can't all be as evil as you :-) They don't call her the Evil Shee Potato Grower for nothing!"
This upload is a .gen file extracted from the original example norns provided by JayD. Because sometimes you just need the genome, not an entire creature.
If you want the norns themselves, you can find them (for now) on this archived page. |

type | Genetics Only | author | TheNewBlack (blue_eyed_alley_catz) | This is for all you fellow norn torturers out there! Here's some norns that actually like getting slapped around. They have a very... interesting reaction to getting hit. Being hit or hitting other norns will make them very friendly. Handy for when you have some stubborn norns you want to breed, just give 'em a slap. Also, they have a nice pretty pelt, and can take a lot more damage than a regular norn.
This is my first genetic breed. Enjoy. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Arnout | updated | 3/27/2018 | The tailless Chichettin Norns are a new, genetic Norn breed that is based on the 2017-m ChiChi genome. Besides being ordinary ChiChi Norns, they have some quirks that are also present in Ettins, Grendels and other Norn breeds.
- The boredom drive is higher. When bored, they'll primarily seek toys. If there's no toys around, they'll seek gadgets and machinery instead. However, Chichettin Norns don't hoard gadgets like Ettins do.
- Similar to Ettins, these Norns reach maturity quickly. They live as long as any other Norn, though.
- Chichettin Norns get lonely rather quickly and are more likely to seek one another out.
- They're resistant to histamine A and histamine B.
- Females have longer pregnancies so that they have enough time to get home before they lay their eggs.
- These Norns aren't scared of Grendels. They might even try to hit Grendels that bother them. |

type | Genetics Only | author | fuzzlet | updated | 2/24/2018 | Erigizian Norns are my first genetic breed, so I hope you like them! Here's some of their features:
- They can and will eat critters and detritus in addition to the usual food, fruit and seeds.
- Detritus gives a little alcohol when eaten, but not enough to last in the system for ages.
- Critters give some adrenaline when eaten.
- Fever toxin produces more hotness thanks to their thick pelts.
- The presence of Grendels makes them very angry, and they will attempt to hit them when they are angry. They are capable of holding their own against a full grown Jungle Grendel, but will try to retreat if they take too much damage.
- They are capable of sustaining more wounds before dying.
- They are slightly more prone to anger and violence than other norns.
- They use Bruin Norn and Gargoyle Norn sprites.
- They use CFE genetics.
The zip file contains an egg agent and a starter pair!
EDIT: The egg agent should be functional now! The egg glyphs are incredibly ugly and an error gets pulled up at first, but that error fixes itself (for me, at least) and the agent itself works as it should! |

slot | Norn-S | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Arnout | An entirely new Norn Breed which is basically a perfect mix between ChiChi Norns and Bondi Norns. They also have a few additional genetic features, which I'll keep as a secret for now. ![[nsmirk] [nsmirk]](/images/smilies/emot_smirk.gif)

slot | Norn-R | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Arnout | The Nimbus Norns are a new breed of Norn which is inspired by clouds. They sleep a lot and (similar to molecules of water) like to cling together.
Their designs are somewhat based on a Norn Breed that's been up for download since forever, but which never had its sprites finished (or cleaned up or something). The Nimbus Norns use entirely new sprites, however.
For more information: See the readme. |

slot | Norn-Q | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Arnout | updated | 2/20/2018 | Here is yet another version of the Wood Norns.
Similar to the Red Wood Norns, these use an entirely new set of sprites to remove all hair/ear clipping bugs. However, these should have the same colors as the first Wood Norns that were released during the CCSF, some years ago. See the readme for more information.
If you're planning to upgrade from one of the other versions, make sure that you go into your Images folder and that you remove all sprites of Norn Slot Q. |
 |
slot | Norn-P | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Arnout | updated | 2/20/2018 | Inspired by their original designs, these Bloom Norns use new sprites (and genetics) to remove all bugs from the original download. The males have a bright purple color and the females are pink and red. For more information: See the readme.
If you're upgrading from the original Bloom Norns, make sure that you remove all Norn Slot P sprites in your C3/DS Images folder. |

slot | Geat-S | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Sam Williams (FeralChicken) | updated | 1/27/2018 | website | [view] | When these Norns are born, they resemble normal Pixie Norns. However, as they grow, they begin to lose their flesh and fur, transforming into skeletal versions of themselves! By the time they're youths, the transformation is complete, and the Norn is nothing but bones.
Pictured is a female SkeleNorn (screenshot courtesy of mea). Males have red eyes, but are otherwise identical. I believe they use the default genome (or a variant of it) with no modifications. Please note that the 555 sprite download on the site is corrupted - if your graphics card requires 555 sprites, you will need to download the 565 sprites and convert them manually. |

type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Warfuru, Lis Morris | website | [view] | Kai Norns are very social, they enjoy being around each other and other Norns. This can be a good and a bad thing. Seperating them is a little more difficult than normal, and antisocial Norns such as the Scorpio Norns might get sick of their ever close proximity pretty fast.
Very Important: Baby Kais can not care for themselves... they will die if left unwatched and uncared for. Baby Kais need to have their mother with them at all times, as she will raise the baby to childhood for you. They can not eat normal foods, and must be fed milk from either their mother, or a milk bottle. Keep this in mind before importing and exporting the babies.
Also, when you install your Kai package, a milk vendor will show up in your objects. This is for any baby Kais that might be left without their mother to care for them. It's very important you use the bottles to feed them if there is no mother present.

type | Genetics Only | author | Vampess | website | [view] | The original CFE edits by Vampess. These offer improved survival habits and memory over the original genomes, being able to remember more than one solution to a drive and remember individual creatures. In addition to better recognition of when something is out of reach.
The download currently lacks the egg pack with "mutable" genomes, since the is link broken on the archived site. |
