Tangarao Nornchi Karias | born 6/3/2013 | 7 | Named after a diversely colorful genus of birds, Tangarao was a fanciful Nornchi who enjoyed colorful, proper, and neat things. He liked his toys organized, his cheese without mold, and his lady of only the finest and most sought after color. After what seemed a little battle, he finally found himself a most wonderful spouse and had a beautiful little egg with her! He hoped to see a second just around the corner, too, but - The bittersweet truth of getting an older mate is only having one child. He never got to see her, but he knew before passing that she would have been beautiful. Tangarao is enjoying the perfection of heaven. |

Not long from this world himself, Snaff visits the fresh gravesite of his old friend. He has spent the majority of his day making his last rounds and getting his affairs in order. The green Nornchi shook his head at the disarray of tributes upon the marker, then smiled as an idea struck him. With care he knelt into the dirt and grass and rearranged the offerings in just the way that would please the cultured Nornchi. Snaff even left a token of his own behind; another of his artful holographs. What better memory to leave than that of the celebration of Tangarao's marriage to Ashcorp! With a final farewell and a see you soon on the other side, Snaff rose from the ground and hobbled away; dabbing at the fur beneath his goggles as he went to tie up loose ends.

Just two more days left on our boys, I can scarcely believe it. I wonder where ol' Tangarao is going to haunt when he passes on.

Aww... He's still so young! Poor lonely guy.

Snaff stops by to pay his friend a visit. After all, he made an effort to help Ashorp pass on with a smile on her face, why couldn't he also try lifting Tangarao's spirits as well? He himself would soon join him after Yarrow passes away. Grinning, Snaff knew exactly what to talk about. The hopes that the friendship between the two families would extend to their unhatched offspring and the generations beyond!

Which really does excite me, being Namwahi's owner I'm so glad her line is continuing on.

Counting a "family" as any pair of creatchis who have bred, there are 3 separate nornchi, 6 grendelchi and 3 ettinchi families. (4 nornchi and 1 ettinchi families never went beyond 2nd gen.) This pairing would link the Namwahi/Leon family with the Jade/Mr.Dude family.

I'm charting a family tree at the moment. I think Nutter might have one already though. I'm not graphing any of the unmarried first gens who have died though.

I wondered about that for a while, if the families would start joining or inbreeding and when. Anyone have a family tree yet?

I believe so.
